Where you'll stay
Happy Valley Haven is the upstairs unit of a two unit home. It is yours completely for your stay, with your own entrance and the whole driveway out front. The downstairs unit is home to long term tenants with their own entrance around the back, so you may occasionally hear neighbors the way you would in any duplex. We say that up front because we would rather you know than wonder.
Inside there is room to spread out: a full kitchen with a table that seats six, two living areas, three bedrooms including a bunk room with two sets of bunk beds, and two bathrooms. Eight people sleep comfortably without anyone drawing the short straw. Fast wifi is included.

Payments and cancellations
Half now
50 percent of the stay is due when you book, on a card. The dates are yours the moment it goes through.
Half a week before
The balance runs automatically on the same card seven days before you arrive. No invoice to chase, no link to click.
Cancelling
Cancel any time before that balance date and you are refunded in full. Inside seven days nothing is refunded, because the dates are off the market by then.
Booking inside seven days of arrival? Then it is paid in full at checkout and that payment is not refundable. A $500 hold is placed on the card shortly before arrival and released after checkout, provided the house is as you found it. The full policy is in our Terms and Conditions.
Questions our guests ask
What time is check in and check out?
Check in is at 2:00 PM and check out is at 11:00 AM. There is a $75 charge for any check out after 11:00 AM.
Do we have the place to ourselves?
Yes. The whole upstairs is yours, with your own entrance and the entire driveway out front. The home is a duplex with long term tenants living downstairs, so please be respectful of noise, especially after 10:00 PM.
Where do we park?
The driveway out front holds four cars and it is yours alone for the stay. No permits, no street parking to work out.
What are the house rules?
- No pets.
- No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property.
- No parties or events.
- Quiet hours after 10:00 PM.
- No more than eight guests.
- The guest who books must be 25 or older.
Is there a cleaning fee?
No. Cleaning is already inside the nightly rate, so there is no separate cleaning fee at checkout.
Do we sign anything?
Yes, a short rental agreement, sent by email right after you book. It says what is on this page and takes a minute to sign.
